Discount home theater systems There are two different ways
to save big bucks when you buy a home theater surround sound audio system,
depending on the level of performance you want. Either way you
go, you will have
to separately purchase/supply your own high definition television or projector, Blu-ray Disc / DVD player,
video game system, HD receiver / HDTV programming, and all the necessary audio, video, speaker cables to properly connect the entire system.
1. If you appreciate
the good stuff, you should consider purchasing one of the home
theater bundles where an authorized retailer has paired together
a home theater receiver and surround sound speaker system and
offered it to you as a package deal.
For example, the high-end Yamaha home theater receiver and Definitive Technology bipolar surround sound speaker system pictured to the right could
cost you over $3700 if you purchased each component separately,
but when you purchase all seven items together at the same time,
you can buy it for under $2300! |

The Denon home theater receiver and KEF surround sound speaker system package pictured below could cost you nearly
$2600, but is less than $1800 when purchased together!

2. If lowest possible price trumps performance and you just need a
really cheap home theater system, consider a home theater in a box, where you get a home theater receiver and matched 6 to 8 piece surround sound speaker system packaged together inside a single large box. Sometimes you also get a DVD player.
While they last, consider the clearance model Harman Kardon CP 55 5.1 channel DVD home theater system pictured below from Tiger Direct!
